Genna is a licensed mental health counselor who has worked in the field of substance abuse for a decade. She is a graduate of Nova Southeastern University where she obtained a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling. Genna has a strong passion for helping those afflicted with the disease of addiction by identifying and challenging thoughts and beliefs that interfere with a life without substances. Genna’s passion comes from her personal journey with addiction and recovery. Genna believes that therapy, in addition to a program of recovery, is where each client learns how to challenge thought and behavioral patterns to help sustain long term and contented sobriety. She has gained valuable experience in many different levels of care as a primary therapist for both adults and adolescents while incorporating family therapy to help the whole family recover. In her free time, Genna enjoy spending time with her husband and daughter, two dogs, four cats and is an die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan.
